- ACC, Advanced Audio Coding, is a newer form of a MP3. It's also known as MP4, and has better quality than a MP3. MP3 is a lower quality to than MP4 when it comes to downloading or converting music. It is also the most common form use. AIFF is a type of uncompressed audio file that is used on Apple products. All of the formats above are all kind of that same but different. Their formats that 'copy' the music, but they each have heir own 'personal touch' on it. ACC and MP3 both compress music, but when it is a ACC the quality sounds better. An AIFF is just an audio format that does not compress the sound what so ever, so their usually have a bigger MB size.
- The MB for each format is different in size: ACC- 7.6 MB MP3 (Good)- 3.7 MB MP3 (HIgher)- 5.5 MB AIFF- 40.2 MB YOUTUBE- 3.7 MB
- I really couldn't hear a difference between the files, in my opinion all of them sounded crappy except the ACC version. The ACC was louder with a clearer sound, while the others were lower and I could not really hear what was going on in the song. The sound got worse after each song, it got to the point where I no longer wanted to listen to the song.
- I would choose the ACC format because the quality sounds better and it does not take up so much space compared to the other formats.
